It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1172 fan vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation. Made in the 1950's, master glass artist Gundersen created this cased vase using cranberry and custard glass. Many people will mistake it as "burmese" glass -- it is definitely a cased glass. Measures 3" high by 4.5" wide. It does have a pontil on the bottom. In mint condition.
