A perfect Roman glass "test tube" style tear vial or unguentarium dated 1st - 3rd century AD, the period of Roman occupation. The vessel was excavated in Syria and measures 8.05 cm in height and has a circumference of 6.8 cm. The glass is a very light green color and there is a light earth encrustation on the interior. The vessel measures 7.6 cm in height, has a circumference of 18.3 cm and has an indented bottom. The glass is a very light green color with a heavy earth encrustation on the interior and exterior.
