Tall, Chartreuse late 19th, early 20th Century Art Glass Goblets, Moser, attributed. Ogee shaped bowl connects to a waisted clear knop, followed by a large, annular knop on which we find three raspberry, clear glass prunts. The long, hollow stem with shadow ribbing flares into a domed foot. 7.25" high, 2.50" diameter at the rim, and 3.25" diameter at the base. Excellent condition, with one having a teeny open bubble at the base edge, unquestionably original to manufacture, and does not affect va... Click for details
Hand enameled, handpainted, hand gilded, early 20th Century Art Glass Cup and Saucer, white cut-to-clear; sweet, delicate handpainted roses, bordered by garlands of tiny blue flowers and leaves; probably Bohemian. Clear, applied handle, a stripe of gilding down its center. Saucer is just over 5" diameter, Cup is 2.5" tall, 3.5" bowl diameter. Very good condition, with only some wear to the gilding, and a small, non-threatening open bubble on the rim, original to manufacturing, photo available c.... Click for details
Hand Enameled and intricately gilded Amber Art Glass Box, Casket, in the style of Moser, although we believe this to be a different fine Bohemian maker, possibly Lobmeyr. Gold mounts (likely gold-plated), three-footed with paw feet; the glass is shadow-ribbed and can be felt on the inside. Note the very tiny hand-gilt cartouch in the center of the larger four-petal beaded pattern. Measures nearly 3.50" tall, and just over 4.00" largest diameter. Excellent condition. c. 1885-1900. $16 US Sh... Click for details
Often mistaken for Moser, but clearly by Fritz Heckert with two pieces signed and one having lost the signature. The unmistakable German Neo-Renaissance style of this elegant gilded crystal trio is testament to a wonderful example of Fritz Heckert's (1837-1887) Silesia, Bohemia, superb quality and styling in art glass. Founded in 1866, the Fritz Heckert Glasshouse was known to produce gilded and enameled glass of outstanding quality. In addition to the delicate, intricate pattern of the rais... Click for details
Fritz Heckert (1837-1887) Silesia, Bohemia, Gilt decorated Crystal Fingerbowl and Underplate, unsigned, but unmistakably by Heckert. It is likely that the delicate gilt monogram associated with his signature has worn away.
Foliate bowl measures 4.5" diameter, 2 inches tall; foliate underplate is 5.75" diameter. Condition is excellent with expected wear to the gilt. c. 1885. $18 US Shipping. [see our item no. 5363 ... Click for details
Small condiment or sauce bowl, blown glass which has been engraved and brightly gilded in a floral and leaf pattern. Probably Bohemian, and by a fine manufacturer of the time. 3.5" (8.89 cm) diameter, .75" (1.90 cm) tall. Excellent condition with extremely minor wear to the gilt. c. 1885-1920. $8 US Shipping.
This fascinating piece features a looped peach neck tapering to a yellow satin glass bulbous body. I suspect a bohemian origin circa 1880-1900. Pristine condition.
Absolutely spectacular clear glass bud vase encased in an intricate art nouveau gilt frame. Tremendous example of European art nouveau design. I suspect that this is WMF, but cannot find the marks. It is 7.5 inches in height.
