Much prettier than potographed; Four-sided, two sides with four thumbprint cuts each, and two sides are flat. Only small remnants of one-time decorative gilding; polished pontil, 7-1/4" long, 1/2" square at pontil end, slightly larger at shoulder, stopper is 7/8" long by 3/8" across disk. Huge, heavy, solid crystal, art glass Bottle Stopper, most likely from a quite large and most elegant decanter of quality manufacture. Internal air-twist design culminating in a single, round bubble at the apex. 9" circumference, 5" length, 1"+ diameter of insert dauber. A lovely, unusual pate de verre plaque in the shape of a heart, with "lacy" edging, and young boy with basket. There is a hand-engraved signature on the side, a date that appears to be 1918 or 1978, although the style of the piece indicates the earlier date; and we cannot identify the mark with interlocking letters, presumably the artist's symbol. 5" x 4.5" x .75" (12.70 x 11.43 x 1.90 cm) deep. Pair of tiny cordial glasses, probably czechoslovokian, amber glass with enameling and gilt depicting the head of a knight in armour, a lance and flag, and five-petal flowers and leaves on all sides; gilt rims. Late 19th Century blown glass Horn Vase rising from a brass Ram's-head mask, which rests on a lightly veined marble slab base. A face jug of glass, three-part mould blown, a "portrait" of a gentleman in either Colonial or Elizabethan costume, judging from the ruffled collar. Applied handle, sharp pontil mark, thickly folded rim, tool-worked spout, all-over acid finish. Inclusions of black and white, interior bubbles.
