Turn-of-the century art glass tazza, swirling shadow ribs in both the removable bowl and the attached foot; thick hand-gilding around edges in floral and leaf design; both the bowl and the foot have ground pontils; engraved number on the base reads "Ro195802." Late 19th to early 20th Century Very Rare and Unusual, Blown Crystal, Art Glass Perfume Vial with Stopper. Much prettier than potographed; Four-sided, two sides with four thumbprint cuts each, and two sides are flat. Only small remnants of one-time decorative gilding; polished pontil, 7-1/4" long, 1/2" square at pontil end, slightly larger at shoulder, stopper is 7/8" long by 3/8" across disk. Huge, gorgeous, distinctively shaped, deeply etched with nudes and putti, blown crystal vase, 17" tall, nearly 8" diameter, 3.5" diameter opening, flat polished base. Body of the vase has two lovely reclining nude females and two putti, while the upper portion has one upright nude standing in a scallop shell, and one winged, violin-playing putti--6 figures total, and other etched decorative motifs.
