Exquisite, early 20th Century Venetian lampworked Art Glass "pearl" necklace. The colors in this necklace are beautifil...ivory ground, wide swaths of gold dust, squiggles of copper aventurine and gold, daubs of pink, blue, red and white, all glass, all typically Venetian. Glass "pearls" are separated by small cobalt blue glass beads, dotted with gold; age of the piece may be see in the loss of coloration of the gold-colored metal "spacers" up against each bead. Elegant early 20th Century Venetian lampwork bead necklace; each bead is pale blue ground, with pale pink and cranberry dots, along with yellow-centered flowers showing blue & white petals, large band of real gold dust through the center, with squiggles of gold throughout. 15" (38.10 cm) necklace, largest bead apx. .625" (1.58 cm) diameter.
