Milk Glass Set of “Teardrop” Compotes

Being offered is a set of milk glass compotes in very fine condition with no chips, nicks, scratches or repairs. When held up before a light they are translucent which indicates that they are true milk glass. The largest of the two is 7 ½” tall; has a 7 ½” diameter top opening; and has a 4 ¼” base diameter. The other compote is also 7 ½” tall, but has a 6 ¾” top opening and a 3 ¾” diameter base. Together they weigh 4 lbs. 4 oz.

Milk Glass Goddess by Avon 11” Tall Fine Condition

This offering is for an Avon milk glass bottle in the likeness of a goddess. Besides being 11” tall she is also 3” across the shoulders and stands on a base that is 2 ½” in diameter. The bottom of this item is marked “Avon with a 5 in a circle”. I can find no blemishes or problems with the very nice condition of this bottle.

Here is a very old hand-painted satin milk glass bottle with matching stopper circa 1890’s. This hand-blown item is in very fine condition with no chips, nicks, scratches or repairs. Even the hand-painted gold pattern is in excellent condition. It stands 9 ¾” tall with the stopper inserted and 7 ½” tall with the stopper removed. It stands on a 3 1/8” diameter base with a very visible pontil mark. Finally, the stopper is 3 ¾” long and has no chips as are often found on bottles of this age. ... Click for details
