This bowl is multi-functional! It is listed in Fenton's catalog as an ashtray, a Chip n' Dip bowl or a Candle Bowl. It is 8" in diameter, 2-1/4" tall and has a raised center for a 3" candle or ashtray. It is milk glass and in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. Moser, attr. pale green blown glass Vase with raised polychrome enameling, gilt, and four attached lion head prunts. In addition to tiny raised beading throughout, the vase has four individual rows of white beading, each encased in two circles of gilt. Generous gilt surrounds the rim, while the neck and throat of the vase have small patterns of enameled spear-and-dagger and fleur d'lis. Two matching plates by the Higgins Glass Company, Mid-20th Century, with the gold Higgins signature of that era, sometimes referred to as the "Dearborn signature," after the name of the factory in Chicago. Gold also exists in the form of concentric cirles from the center of the plates, outward, in a random pattern of long dashes and dots -- very attractive. Each plate measures 8.50" (21.59 cm) diameter, and about .50" (1.27 cm) tall. Slight wear to the gilding; otherwise excellent condition.... Click for details
