| This pitcher is so beautiful that we just couldn't get enough photos of it. It's gorgeous from absolutely every angle. In the Venetian style, this pale amber and aqua pitcher has a very elegant shape, and is made up of the unusual combined pattern of vertical ribbing, alternating with swatches of diamonds. The top is ruffled in beautiful proportion to the body. The handle is perfectly shaped in small ribs ending in a starburst at each attachment terminal. The pontil is polished in a concave circle typical of that of Loetz. Large, it measures 7.25" tall, foliate opening is 5.50" diameter, 7.50" largest diameter to the edge of the handle. Unmarked, this is likely Bohemian or English, and definitely by one of the best manufacturers. Excellent condition. c. 1890-1910. $20 US Shipping. | |||||||||||||||
