| Spectacular 1950s Murano bowl by Barovier & Toso, measuring 21.50" (54.61 cm) long, 10" (25.4 cm) wide, 3" (7.62 cm) tall. Over a base layer of lattimo (white), there is an intricate "fishnet" pattern utilizing blue, orange, and cobalt canes, beginning with the pinwheel swirl in the center, and radiating out to the scalloped rim, which appears to simulate ocean waves. The entire piece is then sealed in a layer of crystal clear glass. A rare, unusual, and exceptional piece in excellent condition. c. 1950-1960. $30 US Shipping. | |||||||||
