The Madonna stands 6-1/4" tall and sits on a raised section of the font (font is 7-7/8" in dia) which makes the 2 pieces 8-1/2" tall. The Madonna has the printed 1403 on the bottom plus a foil label that says - Lefton's Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. Exclusives Japan. This label was used from 1953-1971. The font is only marked with the 1403.
