| A Tiffany Candlestick Shade, in colors that we have rarely found, was originally designed for use with a bronze base or as part of a intricate candelabra. The shade is cased glass over a iridescent cream calcite. The many colors of the pulled feather decoration are in the soft green, aqua and yellow tones, with a touch of a deep burnt orange, almost brown. The accents are pure white which set off nicely the "waterfall" effect of the other colors. The shade is 5.25" higher and has a fitter rim of 1.25". "L.C.T. S6461" is engraved on the fitter rim, but is too light and too small to photograph. The number indicates the shade was made in the late 1800's. The shade is in excellent condition, except for a spot of carbon incurred during production, which seems at first glance to be part of the design. | ||||||||
