Heavy and substantial circa 1970s Swedish sterling silver bracelet by Bengt Liljedahl. This modernist piece has two pale Rutilated Quartz bullet-shaped cabochons in a very modern design. It is stamped "Made in Sweden, Sterling", and has several hallmarks and the maker's signature in script. The inside circumference is approx. 7.25" and is somewhat adjustable. Excellent condition.
Innovative design by Chicago "brutalist" artist Richard Bitterman, circa 1970s. Made of steel and brass industrial scrap metal. The expressive pendant measures over 3" tall and is extremely solid and heavy. Signed "Richard Bitterman", and what looks like "198" on the front. Good condition with some corrosion.

Interesting pendant consisting of layers of abstract sterling silver strips and bars, surrounding a natural pinkish-red cabochon gemstone, possibly Rhodochrosite. Signed "Taira, Sterling." The pendant measures 2 1/8"long and 1/5" wide. Chain not included.
This wonderful brooch epitomizes American Modernist jewelery design of the 1950s. In sterling silver, with a large bone disc, and what appears to be a white quartz bead and small black disc-shaped beads that move freely on a sterling wire. This handsome brooch measures a large 3.5" long. The piece has a hook type clasp, is unmarked, and in very good vintage condition.
The work of Mid-Century silversmith Ronald Hayes Pearson work is included in major collections at the Smithsonian Institute, the American Craft Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, and many other noted museums.
