Scandinavian silver and rock crystal modernist necklace by Elis Kauppi for Kupittaan Kulta. Kauppi founded the company in 1945. In the 50s he began designing pieces which incorporated local stones and utilized simple forms. This lovely pendant has a large 16mm cut rock crystal; the entire setting is just over 20mm. The crystal is suspended from three interlocking silver bands. Heavy and chunky sterling silver and rock crystal ring by prolific Danish silversmith Niels Erik From. The ring is solid sterling silver with a sparkling faceted crystal surrounded by a free-floating silver circle. The ring stands 1/2" above the hand, the table measures .75" in diameter and the stone is 3/8". It is a size 7 and marked "From 925." It weighs approximately 113.4 grams.
