Unique and gorgeous layered antique frame made with what appears to be oak wood and very pretty gold gilt. Unsure of it's origin, although I suspect Canadian, American or possibly British.

Original oil on board painting signed by E. Simoneau, Canada. Unsure of the year but believe it is prior to 1970 due to the frame design. Rectangular shape. Frame is made of wood in an ivory/beige color with a hint of rust throughout the frame and gold trim on the inside.
