This lovely Pate is titled "Boxing Day" and depicts a Victorian couple ice skating in the winter in front of a church. The plate is marked "Designed Exclusively For Royal Worcester by Sue Schuard M.A.R.C.A. Fine Bone China Made in England #3 In the Christmas Past Series". This Plate was made by the Alfred Meakin Pottery in Staffordshire England. It is hand engraved and has the words on the front "God Bless Our House Throughout 1972". Made I believe circa 1905-1910 in Dresden Germany, this "Fruit" decorated Plate is in very good condition. It does have some age crazing and light wear on the Gold trim which is quite normal for any piece that is nearly 100 years old. There are NO chips or cracks. It measures 9.5" in diameter.
