This is a really great, vintage, forest green Ovid Ribbed 8 inch high sugar canister made by Owens Illinois, U.S.A. in the 1930s. This canister measures 5 3/4 inches across X 5 inches deep. It is signed on the bottom: Owens Illinois Glass Co., PAT. 100014. This canister has the original sugar label on and the original screw-on lid. The label is good, but shows some wear. The original metal lid is good, it screws on freely, but the original paint is thin on the top. The original cardboard seal is inside the lid (stained, but there).
